ZF Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT “Coke” – Review

Had this ZF Tudor BB58 GMT in hand for a while now, so thought I’d do a proper review rather than just post a few pics.

First impressions

Really nice watch in person. The Coke bezel works really well with the black dial and gives it a different look compared with the usual BB58s.

The watch has a good weight to it and feels solid in hand. The overall finishing is very good for a rep, especially considering the price point.

Dial & hands

The dial is clean and the printing looks sharp. The applied markers have a nice finish and the lume plots are well done.

The hands are nicely finished and everything lines up well. The GMT hand also adds a nice bit of colour without making the dial look too busy.

The date window is nicely framed and sits well on the dial.

Bezel

The bezel is one of my favourite parts of this watch.

The black and red colour combination looks really good in person and gives it that proper Coke GMT look. The numbers and markers are clean and the overall bezel finishing is impressive.

The bezel action feels positive with no obvious looseness.

Case & finishing

The case finishing is very good. You get a mixture of brushed and polished surfaces and the transitions between them are clean.

The brushing on the lugs and bracelet looks particularly good under different lighting.

Bracelet & clasp

The bracelet feels solid and has a decent amount of weight to it.

The brushing is consistent and matches the case nicely. The clasp also feels solid and doesn't have that cheap/light feeling you sometimes get with reps.

On the wrist the bracelet makes the watch feel like a much more expensive piece.

Overall

Really happy with this one. The Coke bezel, black dial and overall finishing work really well together.

ZF have done a good job with the overall package. There are obviously still things you could pick apart when comparing it against gen, but as a complete watch I think it's very nicely done.

Definitely one I'd recommend if you want something a bit different from the usual Submariner-style reps.
