"I hate Israelis, not Jews"

Why do people keep saying this? Are they not aware that 7 million Jews live in Israel? I also "love" how they never seem to know that there are 2 million non-Jewish Israelis, but whenever they say "I hate Israelis", they 100% mean the Jewish ones only, since these people talk about how much they love Arabs and Muslims 24/7

I just don't understand when they say "I have no problem with Jewish people" when even diaspora Jews, 90% of them support Israel's existence, this is so sad... crazy how xenophobic these people are, then they talk about how bad racism is yet it's totally fine to treat Israelis like shit and act like all Israelis are like Ben-Gvir, also don't get me started on how a lot of these people are Hamas supporters, then have the nerve to say that "there's no such thing as an innocent Israeli"
