Telegram account completely frozen after a conversation. Has anyone successfully appealed?

My Telegram account was recently completely frozen for allegedly violating the Terms of Service.

I’m not certain what triggered it, but I think it may have been a private conversation involving an allowance, which Telegram might have interpreted as solicitation. I told the other person that I didn’t think we were a good fit, and shortly afterward my account was restricted. I haven’t received a clear explanation identifying the specific message or violation.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, were you able to recover your account, and how long did the appeal process take? I’ve contacted Telegram support and would especially appreciate advice from anyone who has successfully had a complete restriction reviewed.

I’m not looking for ways to bypass the restriction.. just trying to understand what happened and whether there’s a legitimate path to restoring my account.
