.44 mag VS .454 Casull SBR

I plan on SBR'ing a Rossi R95 Triple Black pistol for a ride/stalk around hog gun on our Texas ranch. I originally had planned on a .44 mag and an accompanying revolver. I just realized that the R95 also comes chambered in .454. So now I am trying to decide between .44 mag SBR/revolver combo vs .454 SBR & .45LC revolver combo. More considerations below:

-I don't have much interest in a .454 revolver, but I like the idea of a .45LC revolver and being able to use .45LC ammo to plink with the .454.

-I already have a 45-70 that preforms phenomenally on hogs, but I have that set up to sit at a blind (heavy & 3-12x scope). The goal of this SBR is to have a shorter/lighter lever gun to ride/stalk around with.

-Hogs on our property get to well over 300lbs, so more stopping power would not be a bad thing (largest we've shot was 342lbs). Additionally, I anticipate many of my shots will be at hogs on the move, so some more stopping power would be nice to make up for potentially less than perfect shot placement.

-Shots would be at 75 yards and in.

-I hand load.

Do any of y'all have experience hunting hogs with a .44 mag? Drop em like a sack of tatters or wish they had a bit more oomph? Anyone go with a .454 casull and think it was overkill?

Thanks!
