pls help what is this called

ok so my mom and i both have misaligned hips. my mom has RA and i have lupus, so we both have pretty bad joint pain anyway and our hips are the worst of it. she told me that about a decade ago she saw a woman who laid her on her back and used this “punch tool” in like 100 different spots around her back to realign it. the next day, and for the next two years, she felt great. neither of us know what this is called but i would really like to find out and try it. i’m sorry, i know this probably isn’t chiropractic, but i hope one of you will know enough to help
