AIO about my partner not wanting to game with me?

Me and my partner are in our early 20s (don’t live together) and our favourite hobby is playing video games. We both have pretty good PC setups allowing us both to run the latest games with no problems. However, they never want to play with me. We share a few games in common and we both even tried learning each other’s favourite (not together, with other people).

I don’t want it to seem like I’m trying to take them away from their friends as I’m glad they have people in their life that enjoy playing with them and they have a life outside of our relationship. I do not have a lot of friends though, and the few IRLs I have, do not game.
I also do not want them to feel responsible for this though.

I mentioned it to them before and they said “I’m making a big deal out of nothing” when I’ve mentioned I don’t want to take up all his time.

Ultimately, it makes me feel a bit sad and lonely, as if I’m an inconvenience by asking. Any advice?
