Market Mishaps

I visited the St. Catharines market today. I bought a dozen eggs but after getting home, I noticed there were only 11 eggs in the carton. I always check at the store for cracked eggs. The eggs were placed in a bag so I didn’t think to check.

I also bought some salami that was sealed but noticed later it had a best before date of June 30, 2026. While it is likely still good, knowing it’s expired leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

It was too late to go back and I am not able to go back on Saturday. These oversights are on me but act as a reminder to check before you buy.
