The obsession with keeping pets indoors and sterilizing them can go too far. We’ve bred animals to depend on us, then keep them confined for our own comfort.

I’m not saying pets should be abandoned or left to fend for themselves. I just think we should question how much control we have over animals and whether everything we do is actually for their benefit or sometimes just for our own convenience.
