How do you keep going when there's nothing to hold on to?

Question

I'm 27F I don't really know how to phrase this properly so I'll just say it.

no job right now, and every day looks exactly like the one before it. This has been going on in some form for about four years. I keep starting things - courses, certifications, plans and some of them I even finish, but nothing seems to move. I wake up and there's nothing in the day that's actually mine. No structure, no reason to get up at a particular time, nothing that would be missed if I didn't do it.

The thing that gets me isn't sadness exactly. It's that it's all just the same. I can't tell one month from another looking back.

I'm not asking for a life plan or a list of habits. I've read all of those. I'm asking the people who have been in a genuinely blank stretch like this - what did you actually hold on to while you were in it? Not what fixed it afterwards. What got you through the middle of it, when nothing had started working yet.
