Hello everyone.🙂

Today is BABYMETAL bassist Bohte Daisuke's (BOH) birthday. He is a unique guitarist; his charisma, memorable image, style, and powerful bass always delight us, whether it's concerts, studio albums, or just his tracks. As a reminder, BOH has played over 200 concerts with BABYMETAL.❤️‍🔥

A few facts about BOH.📖

BOH was born on August 14, 1982, in Asahikawa (Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan).🇯🇵

Bohte's parents—his mother was a music teacher, and his father worked in a store and was also a conductor.😌

Bohte has a younger brother.🧍‍♂️

During his early school years, Bohte's parents forced him to attend music school and sing in the choir. As BOH recalls those early years, he really disliked music and singing in the choir.😑

As a teenager, Bohte wanted to become a soldier.🪖

He began playing the four-string bass guitar at age 15.🎸

At 15, he founded his first school rock band.🎶

He graduated from music school and music college.🎼

He taught at a music college.🧑‍🏫

BOH looked up to and drew inspiration from bassists Billy Sheehan and Victor Wooten.⭐

He switched to the six-string bass guitar at age 18. A teacher at the music college, seeing Bohte's great talent and skill, strongly advised him to switch to the six-string bass.💪

He began his professional career in 2004.

2004–2006: Aya with SUPER VIBRATION.

2007 – BINECKS.

2008–2010: BINECKS, founded by guitarist DAITA from SIAM SHADE.

BOH performs as a guest musician with many bands and still performs at numerous concerts. He also helps record soundtracks for games and anime.☺️

His main guitar is an Atelier Z Beta-6/32. Based on this guitar, Atelier created a signature bass guitar for BOH, the Atelier Z Beta-6 BOH Custom.🎸(Photo 16,17)

Bassists often get overlooked, and many don't realize how much they contribute to each song. But BOH is always noticeable on stage, always giving his all to the music, singing along, and expressing a lot of emotion during his performance. His energy has always been a great addition to BABYMETAL. And he plays such amazing solos; he's a true professional and master of his craft.⚡⚡⚡

For me personally, BOH introduced me to the bass guitar. It was after his solos and powerful playing in songs that I began to pay more attention to bass players. I even started learning bass thanks to him, for which I'm very grateful.😌

Thank you, BOH, for your hard work, energy, and passion. The fans remember and appreciate your contribution to BABYMETAL's development.🙂

Happy birthday to BOH!!! We wish you great creative success, good health, happiness, and prosperity.🎉🥳🎂
