Greyhound not sleeping through the night
Hi everyone, we’ve been letting our recently adopted grey sleep in the same bedroom as us. However for most nights he would wake up in his bed to whine at least for a few minutes, sometimes multiple times, which can be quite disruptive to our (much needed) sleep, too.
Our grey is often quite vocal with his feelings but he has been slowly getting better in terms of independence. But we continue to struggle with him sleeping at night.
Sometimes we’d take him out to drink water or do a pee out in the yard - but these were not always what he needed. We also had measures to make sure it’s not because he’s cold but that’s not always the reason either.
We feel he’s the kind of grey that likes to be with their humans when sleeping (I suppose most greys are?) so we haven’t tested having him sleep in a separate room. For now, we really don’t mind having him with us as long as he could sleep through the night.
Is there something we’d missed and anything else we can do? Thank you.
