27F looking for roommate or lease takeover — Manhattan or Brooklyn

Hi friends! My name is Hannah and I’m looking to either take over a studio lease, or find a roommate (or two) and hunt for a new place together!

I’m 27f and planning to move to the city this fall — my dates are flexible as long as it’s after approx. September 18th. I currently work 100% remote, but should I move to the city I will likely be going into my office a couple times a week. I have no pets. My ideal budget would be around or under $1500 per person. (I know there’s basically no studios available for that price anywhere, so unless there’s a miracle in my near future, I think looking for a roommate is likely the way to go.) I’d strongly prefer to live in Manhattan, but I’m also open to Brooklyn. I’m clean, quiet, and generally keep to myself — I love video games and cosplay, so I’m usually in my room gaming or working on a project — but I love being social and I’m always down to go out together for dinner or drinks!
