Chopped 43x vs 43.

I am looking to purchase a pistol that I will be carrying AIWB. I like the size of the Sig P365, but dislike Sig as a company. Unfortunately Glock refuses to make a pistol to compete with the P365, so I've looked into chopping my 43x to make the grip smaller like in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Glock43X/comments/1cjpm91/shield_arms_s10_glock_43x_grip_chop/

Anybody have experience with this?
