built this thing called dolly, would love if some of you tried it

I’ve been doing AI video and image work for clients for about a year, mostly ads. Spent a lot of that time inside Higgsfield. The tools themselves were fine but the billing side drove me crazy. Credits going faster than the pricing page led me to expect, and when I went looking to see if it was just me, it very much was not.

So I built Dolly. General purpose AI media generation, images, video, voice, music. Mostly the same underlying models everyone else has access to. The thing I actually care about is that you can see what a generation costs before you run it and the credit math isn’t a mystery.

It’s also MCP first, so you can drive the whole thing from Claude or whatever agent you use instead of clicking around a website. That’s the part I most want feedback on, because I think that’s where this is heading and I could be wrong.

I’m one person, no funding, no team. There are rough edges and I’d rather hear about them now than in six months.
