The public often plays a much greater role in their own oppression and their societies destruction that they care to acknowledge...

They mocked the liberals who protested against the banks and the billionaires and who protested things like the G20. They were called useless eaters and adults living in their parents basement. Trump was elected because they felt the nation should be "run like a business." That's exactly what they got...

Trump promised "no new wars" and the conservatives praised this... And this is odd because conservatives were the party that supported most of the wars we've been in- including the Palestinian conflict. I remember the news segments where they would show Palestinian children throwing rocks at IDF soldiers and tanks and the conservatives would side with the IDF almost uniformly. It wasn't just the Christian Nationals. That's a myth dreamt up by people unwilling to be ever accept accountability for the problems they whine about now.

This isn't to say the liberals do not contribute substantially as well. The same people who ran Occupy Wall Street and protested against police abusing their power would praise the police who roughed up or brutalized anti-maskers or anti-vaxxers. They would cheer when businesses were closed for non-compliance. When medical professionals critical of the vaccines or the lockdowns had their careers or reputations ruined by Fauci and the media and people endured widespread censorship. The pharmaceuticals were praised and defended- even when they received immunity from legal action for the integrity of their product. And Fauci was pardoned for "any crimes he may have committed." Currently they rail about Trump being mentioned in the Epstein files, but Fauci was a saint. Unaccountability...

And the Ukraine, of course. War is fine...if you present it the right way. The anti-war left becomes pro-war to the tune of billions and like Fauci, Zelensky is praised for his valiant pan-handling. People don't seem to realize that the Ukraine was to Russia what Israel is to it's neighbors. A hostile nation. Only Russia wasn't going to be a Palestine or a Lebanon. The US has engineered the Ukraine to be it's proxy and these policies of containment are largely unrecognized by liberals who merely react to the idea that one country invaded another and people are dying. Liberals on the superficial implication of a higher morality and they've been sold a lie that the Ukraine- like Israel- is some beautiful garden of Democracy under siege by the hordes of anti-civilization.

The sad part is that...as I knew...nothing would change in the long run. The politicians always endure scandals, but they can always weasel their way out be rebranding themselves or setting up false fronts like alternative parties. Some people are fooled by things like "Tea Parties." Some people get fooled by the Bernie Sanders and Tulsi Gabbards. The RFK Jr's and the Mamdani's. The America Firsters or the so-called Socialists or Communists. All these different political products placed on the shelf and defended like new religions by convinced zealots. And by the time they prove rotten people will have fallen for the next group of brand new political trojan horses who totally get it.
