How well do I need to know BurpSuite for AppSec roles?

I’m a SWE that’s trying to pivot to AppSec and other such security roles. I have no clue where to begin so I started doing Portswigger Web Security labs. I’m still learning about SQL injection but one of the labs is extremely involved (Blind SQL injection with conditional responses).

The solution video itself is 30 mins. And this is just the first lesson. I understand it as a concept but im not sure if I can carry this out on my own in an interview very quickly. Do I need to be able to do something like this in an interview?
