Hello Class,

I had alot of questions on this so I decided to get them on the repo.

I have 3 active loops that run daily right now and I will probably have more in the future. If you are new to hermes you have probably heard of loops, graphs, multi agent bots, swarms etc. Don't worry about all of that. This is a good starting point that you can develop. The idea is simply, can you make your hermes a little better everyday?

The whole thing hangs on that one question. Small, boring, repeatable improvements that pile up. Not a big architecture project, not a swarm. Just a little better, every day.

A loop is three steps that run over and over: try something, test it, keep it or put it back. That is the entire trick. You already do this by hand every time you tweak a prompt and see if it works better. The only difference is this does it while you sleep.

I have three running right now set for around 3am ish when no sessions are open. Delivery to telegram.

**autoresearch** is the one that actually changes things. You point it at a target, like a config file or a script, and give it a test that scores the result. It makes a small change, runs the test, and keeps the change if the score goes up. If it goes down, it reverts and tries again. Everything stays local, nothing gets pushed until you look at it.

**maintenance** is the careful one. It changes nothing. It reads your setup and tells you what looks healthy and what does not, then its improvement half turns repeating problems into suggestions you review yourself. A checkup, not a repair.

**diagnostic review** is the one I run on my own sessions on both default and my dev (coding) profile. It reads your recent history, finds the mistakes you keep making, and suggests a reusable skill so you stop making them. This one is a skill, not code, so it runs inside Hermes and never touches anything without your say so. think tool call issues etc.

You do not need graphs or multi agent swarms to start. One loop, one target, one test. Add the rest later when you actually need it.

Everything is on the repo with the README written so you can copy a loop and run it the same day: [GitHub - AtlasOmnia/hermes-loops: Autonomous agent loops for Hermes Agent: the autoresearch harness and the health/improvement maintenance loops. · GitHub](https://github.com/AtlasOmnia/hermes-loops)
