Books where boss MMC fires assistant FMC??

Hello!

Looking for books that have scenes where MMC fires FMC for whatever reason: he thinks she betrayed him, purposely sabotages a deal, or any other reason tbh.

I want FMC to be innocent of course. I want her to be devastated but with a backbone.

I want MMC to lose it! I want his company to be affected if possible. Once he figures out it was not FMCs fault, I need him to grovel and beg her return!

Only book I can think of is {The billionaire’s revenge by Nadia Lee}. MMC thinks FMC is a spy and she betrayed the company so he fires her in front of others. She chooses to move on and was gonna leave the country since everyone around her failed her. Grovel was good but could of been better lol

I checked here first and I only found one thread where FMC gets fired from her job independently and not from MMC.

No historical pls, everything else is fine.

Thank you in advance!
