**Examples:**

* **Abijah Fowler (Blue-Eyed Samurai) -** Fowler was a child during the Tudor conquest of Ireland, when the O'Neill clans were subjected to the English scorched-earth tactics. Fowler's parents starved, and he did whatever he could to keep his sister alive, even feeding her his own blood, but when she starved, he protected her body until he couldn't bear the hunger anymore and devoured her liver. He decided from then on to make his own fate and live on his own terms rather than by survival. Fowler would be one of the white men who went to Japan during the Edo Period, where one of them (possibly him) bedded with a Japanese woman and had Mizu, a mixed-race child. Fowler was kept locked up in a castle on every pilgrimage he made to Japan, where he would import foreign contraband into the island, making the Shogun one of the richest men in the world. In his frustration, he planned to kill the Shogun and take Japan for himself, colonizing it just like the British did for his island.
* **Silvermane (Spider-Noir) -** Silvermane is an Irish bootlegging mob boss who craves power and control and gathers this universe's version of the Sinister Six to take on the Spider. Silvermane mentions how he grew up poor in Ireland due to persecution by the British, which is why he tells Cathy, "Never be satisfied"
* **Remmick (Sinners) -** Remmick was a vampire who lived in pre-colonial Ireland before the British colonized it, genocided his family, and forced the Irish into protestantism. He wants to infect as many people with Vampirism as possible and use Sammie's music to bring his family back to life.

[Surprisingly Common Trope] Irish Villain who is also a survivor of British oppression
