Greetings Magik Mains, I desire your skills >:]

Hello fellow Magik Mains, I come to Limbo asking for guidance and wisdom!

For many seasons, I wanted to pick Magik up but I didn’t wanna throw since I’ve never been particularly good at melee type of characters. But I do wanna pick her up, since I wanna get better as a player and learn a new character. For context, I am a Wanda main (yeah, wow, it’s gonna be hard learning magik since I play a skillless character T _ T) but I’m not a one trick, I do play other roles but DPS is a weak point for me. So, I would love to get some tips on her! I have tried her out in matches before, and sometimes I can do fairly decent, but i do have moments where I noticed I lacked in skill and died, especially in those 1v1 moments or when I’m diving enemy backlines. All I know is that the Hood Teamup is especially good, I just never know how to apply it correctly lol

So how do you Magik mains do it? How do you get in and get out without dying? How do you combo your kit so well to secure a kill? What is the secret to becoming a Magik Main?
