My 2nd skin came off due to the heat today

My 2nd skin came off due to the heat today only hours after it being done, I got told 2nd skin needed to be on 48hrs, so should I leave it uncovered or cover with cling film? I’ve never had 2nd skin before after having a tattoo, I’ve only had cling film
