Unis accepting remarks?

I've narrowly missed both my offers for computer science at imperial & ucl and was quite close to the boundaries for both offers.

I'm planning to get them remarked and I've spoken to admissions and they said I have until August 31st. Although one thing I'm unclear about which admissions officers have both comfirmed or denied is what happens when I meet my offer after being remarked and submit before the deadline?

I've gotten answers ranging from "I'll 100% be reoffered a place since they have a contractual obligation to do so" to "My place will be unlikely but reconsidered".

How likely will I get the place if I need my conditions?
