Share your bike inventory?

Another post had me mentally thinking about my bike collection and how I should probably sell some things, but curious what sorts of stables people have put together. Here is my inventory, all of these were purchased used and or built up from used frames with 95% used parts over the years, starting with my former life as a bike shop mechanic in the late 1990’s:

- Kona Kilauea - my dream bike in college, picked up when I was in grad school and a mechanic. Blew up the derailleur hanger 27-28 years ago running over a stick and haven’t ridden it since. I should really try to re-align it and get it running again! Has some weird parts on it like those old CNC’d CODA cranks that were basically one piece.maybe some Avid Tri-Aligns too.

- Waterford 1200 - bought from a former pro racer who I’ve found and connected with on IG recently! Built up from a frame, including wheels I built when I was still wrenching.

- Specialized road bike I bought last year for a song to flip and got too lazy/distracted! 🤦‍♂️

- Merlin Extralight with full carbon Campy Record group. Amazing bike I have zero business owning or riding that I need to turn around and sell.

- Fort(?) single speed MTB I bought off Craigslist years ago and have picked back to frame to scavenge parts from it. Need to sell the frame.

- Marin aluminum MTB frame I bought off EBay as a second for a MTB build that was cool but never rode. Scavenged everything off it for other builds so another frame I could release to the wild.

- Raleigh titanium Torus MTB I built up from the frame. Very light 1x9 MTB I barely ever ride for some reason.

- Early Surly 1x1 (rim brake only version) bought off Craigslist in 2007. Super fun, one of my favorite bikes.

- Surly Karate Monkey set up as a single speed. Fun but is a medium and I should be in a large so I need to sell it or trade for something.

- Surly Ogre - haven’t ridden it much but my #1 is waiting on some parts and have taken it out more lately and really starting to love it. It has a Deore rear hub that is essentially silent and that just makes my brain feel good to ride in silence.

- Surly Disc Trucker with 26” wheels - currently my favorite bike that I’m reverting to drop bars, so we’ll see if I still like it as much after!

So many of these I have gotten great deals on but I really could thin down to the Disc Trucker, 1x1, Ogre and the Waterford and be happy. Or even ditch the Waterford and spend some money on a new mostly-road bike that takes wider, modern tires. I would love to use the Merlin as my road bike but it’s super skinny tire only and probably a little small for me and I’m a big guy and probably should stay off the carbon accoutrements.
