Hello, I need help with my xj x351 air bags.

For the past week or so, every time i turned the ignition on, i would get a message on a small screen below the pan sunroof controls that says "passenger air bag off" followed by an airbag warning and the number 2.

The corresponding dash light would like up to. But after all usual engine checks on start up, these would go off.

They then progressed to being a little more persistent. Staying 3 to 5 seconds after engine turn over and all other dash lights have turned off after their checks.

Now, the message still persists about 5 seconds after ignition but it is a 50/50 if the dash light turns off.

And sometimes when it does turn off it will come back on again mid drive. I don't know if its just my mind making this up, but it seems to go on when going over bumps l, which would suggest lose wiring somewhere.

But I have 0 idea where to start. Any help would be great. I will obviously get it seen by a mechanic ASAP but im hard for cash right this moment until next week.

And id like to get it fixed as I obviously don't want my partner sat in a seat with dodgy or not working airbags.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if just pointing me towards which wires control the airbags under the passenger seat so I can check if they are snagged by the seat controls, or lose etc...
