Cross play issues

Hi, me and my partner have been playing with our friend. Me and my partner are both on PC and our friend is on PS5, we have played through all of act 1 and have just got to act 2 however we are now struggling to connect. We have checked and cross play is enabled both in the main settings and the saves settings we are all friends and connect via our larian account. When ever we try to invite to game the error message "something went wrong" can anyone help? It is driving us up the wall.
