Yun Tal or Kraken on Master Yi? Am I trolling?

I’ve been experimenting with crit Master Yi, but instead of building Kraken Slayer as my first item, I’ve been going Yun Tal. My second item is The Collector, followed by IE. For my fourth crit item, I either build LDR or Mortal Reminder. As my last item, I usually go for something defensive. For boots, it depends, but I often go Gluttonous Greaves.

This feels much better to me than replacing Yun Tal with Kraken Slayer and then building Immortal Shieldbow as my defensive item. For runes, I obviously play Hail of Blades.

Is the more conventional off-meta build with Kraken Slayer actually better? Or does my build make sense?
