Ban Appeals Process and is asking about a ban a bannable offense?

Several months ago I was banned from r/SigSauer. In my opinion, my post was reasonable, non-threatening, and inoffensive in every way. I believe it may have been an auto-moderation incident, but as I am muted, I can't even message the mods to ask for an appeal.

Today, I wanted to look into again, so I made a post on a sister forum, r/p365 that simply asked who could I talk to about appealing a ban. No statements of any kind were made. That resulted in a ban from that sub as well.

I believe that was likely an auto-mod issue as well, but I can't find any way to appeal. Who can I talk to about looking into these unfair bans without getting further banned?
