AITA for refusing to translate my aunt's argument with a friend at a family dinner

my aunt sarah was visiting and invited her friend over. at dinner they started arguing in another language and sarah asked me to translate for everyone. i said no because it felt private and awkward. she got upset and told the table i was being rude and unhelpful. the friend ended up leaving early and now my parents say i made things worse by not stepping in. sarah thinks i embarrassed her in front of family. i still feel like it wasn't my place to repeat what they were saying, especially since they were clearly having a personal disagreement.
