Thoughts on the "Story"

Listen: i love tf2 in all its ridiculous glory, and i really appreciate every crumb that gets thrown my way but sometimes i feel like the world and art direction have so much untapped potential for a slightly more "serious" story.

not some gritty political thriller (lmao) but more of that glamorous 60s pulp/espionage/adventure vibe. secret bases, enourmos superweapons, shady corporations, exotic locations etc.

the settings are so visually beautiful, that i sometimes wish the comics had let the world breathe a little more instead of constantly trying to outdo themselves with randomness.

I fucking LOVE Expiration Date for this great mix of serious and cartoony and i wished there was more of that.
