Odds of b1/b2 vida apprival for my Brazilian wife?
I’m a U.S citizen. Married to Brazilian.
I own a Brazilian business and provide for us both. She’s unemployed. Not in school. All of her family is here in Brazil. We own nothing in the U.S and I own a car here in Brazil, as well as us BOTH being on a 2.5 year lease for our home. We’ll be living in Brazil indefinitely, I have permanent residency.
There’s a work event in Vegas next month from the 21-23 that i need to attend, and I really want her to accompany me and for us to get to see Vegas together even though I’ll be very busy throughout the days.
The U.S business partners that need me there? Their company is going to cover all of our expenses. Both her and I. They provided an official letter stating so- for her to bring to the interview.
Entire trip will be 5 days, then we return to Brazil.
She’s only had two jobs in the past. the last one she left in October of last year.
We traveled to Spain, Morocco, and Portugal as well last year.
**IMPORTANT:**
On the DS-160, where it had her mark occupation, we selected “unemployed” and where it then said “explain.” We put:
**“I am currently unemployed. My husband owns and operates a Brazilian business. I will accompany him to the United States while he attends a conference with his U.S. business partners, who will cover our travel expenses. I will not participate in any business activities.”**
Was this good ? What are everyone’s thoughts? Interview is on Monday we’re nervous.
