Counseling notice after suspension?

Haven’t been late in a couple months after my suspension for excessive tardiness. I was told my suspension could be used for disciplinary action for a year and would stay on my record forever. Wondering what would happen if I were to get another counseling notice for absences or for another reason. Would I immediately get suspended or would I have to get three again?
