We've(me and my boyfriend) had our little guy for a bit over five weeks and I've been so excited to see his first shed. I record every feeding and hopefully we can catch him leaving his shed behind. We don't know how old he is but he's about 18in long and around the thickness of a #2 pencil.. he could definitely fit in a boba straw.

Over the past couple weeks we added a few things like plants and a nice climbing stick to his enclosure. Before, he just had a couple hides and basking stones. We did a total upgrade to lean more towards a bioactive enclosure. He just needs some vines along his climbing rope and the critters come in tomorrow!

He's been hiding a lot lately(even at night when we usually see him exploring the most). Literally going back and forth from his humid/moss hide and his cave under the basking lamp and stones. I check these two places the most to see where he's hiding since we havent been seeing him. After feeding he spends a lot of time hiding in the cave, probably because its warmer but he's usually back to a glass hide I made up for him because it keeps humidity well and at one point it had the only live plant in his whole house.

This time I thought he's been hiding away because I scared him from digging around his home adding things here and there.. he came out to feed fine a few days ago but hid away again. A little unusual for him not to do his nightly exploring after his normal digestion period.. but when I checked on him today I noticed his eyes are getting that blue/gray hue to them!

**I'm so excited to see him hit this little milestone with us!**

\*\*\*photos are in order from newest to oldest. He has a total of 4hides. Sorry none of the pics include the live plants I've added.

\*\*the people where we got him "checked" after asking which gender we'd prefer and told us its a male but I plan on getting him again eventually. They also told us his feeding day was Tuesday and we bought him on a Wednesday and there was no sign that he had eaten and he didn't poop until after his first feeding...

\*if anyone could help with age that would be nice

First shed with us! (long read)
