Look I have a lot of complaints I could say about sub agencies but, this is just ridiculous.
I had taken an opening for an assignment around evening of Tuesday set for Thursday. I was feeling under the weather Monday and figured I'd get over it by Wednesday. Wednesday rolls around I am feeling better, so I feel ready for Thursday! I really need the money anyways so I was happy to go. Then my friends started pinging me saying they tested positive for COVID. I thought, "sure I'll get tested too" and wouldn't you know it...Wednesday evening I tested positive for COVID. I wasn't even sure I had COVID could've been the flu until my friends had said something by Wednesday afternoon. I'm vaccinated and everything so I thought maybe this is just a cold. Well I did what any self-respecting person would do I canceled my Thursday job. I know Swing's policy is not to cancel within the 24 hour window and I was going to probably be warned about it. I figured if I explained my situation that I tested positive for COVID (something out of my control in when I would find out) they would remove the warning flag they gave me... They don't care. If this was 2021 I bet you they wouldn't even think twice about it and be like stay home for god sakes! Now? They would rather penalize you for being a good decent person and doing the right thing. They don't care what your reason is, they'll give you the strike anyways! You might as well go in and get everyone sick I guess 🤷‍♂️ and get your check! (Being sarcastic don't do that)

So just a big 'Who Cares?' from Swing Education I guess
