Considering studying Electrical Engineering at VUT – questions about costs and student life
Hi everyone!
I'm considering studying Electrical Engineering at VUT next year and I'm trying to get a realistic idea of what living and studying in Brno is actually like.
I'd really appreciate it if current or former VUT students could answer a few questions:
How much do you realistically spend per month, including dorm, food and transportation?
How much does a dorm room usually cost?
Is it realistic for an international student to find a part-time job without speaking Czech?
How much can a student realistically earn per month from a part-time job?
How difficult is Electrical Engineering at VUT? Is it common to extend the degree?
How good are the internship/job opportunities for Electrical Engineering students?
Is English enough for studying and finding a student job?
Are there many international students at VUT?
If you were choosing again, would you choose VUT?
Thanks in advance!
