The crafting grid is a very unique feature of minecraft, and one i really like because of how fun it is to construct things in 2d and have them turn into things, however over the years it has become cluttered with tons of boring recipes that just fully fill out the grid, as well as the recipe book getting cluttered with tons of stair, brick, wall, and slab recipes.

This post aims to declutter the recipe book and crafting grid by removing these less than unique recipes, while keeping the fun ones:

All single ingredient 2 by 2, or 3 by 3 recipes, would now be crafted by using a new compressor inventory slot for 4 block compressions and crafting table slot for 9 block compressions, there would also be an auto compressor in the crafter.

For new players sake there would also now be a compressible tag on blocks and items that can be compressed.

Stairs and slabs and other recipes with to many varients would also now be moved out of the crafting table and either into the stonecuter now called just the cutter or into a generic stair recipe, or if people could bear the change they could be removed entirely and blocks would just be shapable with an inventory hammer button.

Please leave your thoughts on this change in the description, i will reply to all non troll comments and change the post if good refinements are suggested.
