I’m buying a car from mainland and shipping it back w me, what models should I look at?

I’ve been off island for a few months and sold my last car before leaving, it was too old and I got scammed buying it off Facebook marketplace in Mountain View. So I’m going to buy something on the mainland and ship it back with me. What models should I look at? I don’t want to get something that’s super expensive to fix out there or no one will purchase if I ever sell it, any advice welcome!
