i have a black screen opening some games but my mouse and the sound works normally

I've had this problem with some games before, but there are other games that launch perfectly.

I don't know anything about my pc components, I'm not much into the gaming world but i would like to know how to fix it.

As the title says, it's like opening the game as normal, i can hear the sound effects and the mouse pointer appears on screen and works just fine, but the screen is completely black, how do i fix this?
