Nervous rant
I finished my first novella at the beginning of July. I did the editing myself, I made my own cover, and I'm extremely happy with how everything turned out. My writing was horrible in the beginning, I definitely got better when I finished. But I'm absolutely terrified to press publish.
I'm not worried about who will read it or who won't. I'm terrified of doing something new. I'm petrified of filing a 1099 for the first time. I use Turbotax, so it should be easy right? I'm a visual learner, and not knowing exactly what to do scares me. I don't expect to make much which I'm absolutely fine with.
What was your experience like publishing for the first time?
I want to, I can't wait to share it with friends and family when it is published, I'm already brainstorming a sequel!
Please tell me I'm worrying about nothing. Taxes are easy, publishing is easy. Everything is ready, paperback and Ebook. I'm excited, but mostly paranoid 😬
Thanks for reading my rant!!
