2014 hybrid DAS system

I’m looking deep into getting a 2014 q50s with the hybrid. it is 12k and has 91k miles it is perfect inside and out. however i live in a cold area and ive heard that’s when the das system is most prone to giving out. is this even that common or just a big scare that isn’t relevant anymore?
