Has anyone out there suffered from a displaced bicondylar closed fracture of the Tibia?

I have been walking with a so called "sprained knee " for over 2 weeks. It never improved, but got worse as time went by. Went to the ER yesterday evening and come to find out my knee exploded and is broken. What am I in for here?! On top of it all, I have hEDS.
