A question regarding continous hp loss weapon effect

For deep of night I usually view it as a no go if I see it as I carry dmg negation on full hp, but I heard if you have continous hp restoration then you can bypass not having your dmg negation if you just organise the things properly in your inventory? How would one go about this, and if possible, without the annoying noise of the bubble going away and coming back all the time. Thanks!
