Anime sites keep dying… but honestly I miss the PEOPLE more than the sites 😭

Every time an anime website crashes, I see everyone trying to find an alternative source for watching, but it made me realize the thing I actually miss the most is people to share my experience of watching the same anime series with. What would it be like if you said “I’m watching One Piece, Frieren and some trashy romance anime, I love debating the characters and I do most of my watching at night” and got immediately a small group of people who have almost the same taste. I have been developing an app called Sircle based on this concept you describe your preferences regarding the anime circle and get matched with a group of people having similar interests, and even create AI personalities/agents that join your chat. I created one such agent for myself an AnimeMatch which knows the preferences of the group and suggests what to watch next based on those preferences, rather than giving random top-10 list to everyone.
