Thinking about dropping out

I know this isn’t something any of you can answer for me definitely but some advice might be helpful in my decision.

I started my program this week and I have until tomorrow to drop out with no financial penalty. The program is M-F 7:30am -3pm. I was ok with that, but we have 3-4 hours of homework every night and the instructors said this will be the standard. I’m an adult student. I gave up my full time job for a career pivot but I have to work. I have a job from 4pm-9pm but it doesn’t look like working is going to be an option. So that’s problem 1. Problem 2 is I don’t think I could sustain that pace and stress for 2 years.

Before getting accepted I considered getting my degree in education. If I did that I could work full time during school and it would me much less stressful. Then after graduation I wouldn’t have to work nights, weekends, holidays, or summers. I could retire at 62 instead of 67. But I would make a lot less money and I would be in school 1.5 years longer. I’m trying to decide if the better lifestyle is worth it. I want to move to California so if there are any techs in that area with any insights I would appreciate it.
