Readers re music + script length

CRAFT QUESTION

Professional readers, I’ve heard that you see a 90ish page script as a red flag that it’s not fully baked (drama/romance). However, if music plays a role - say, a character is a singer or two characters dance to a song, and it’s important to the story (but not a biopic where it’s obvious that this will happen), the time of the song will likely add 3-4 min to the movie length. There’s no way to tell a reader upfront, Hey don’t worry it works out to 98 min or whatever - or is there? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Will you reject a script solely on that lower page count without knowing this information? The length doesn’t accurately convey what the audience would be seeing. Thanks in advance for your insight. 😊
