How do you use a glass bulb pipe

So I'm familiar with DMT just to clarify. I've only ever used a cartridge however I think I want to grab some crystals and a bulb pipe and smoke it that way as I am a fan of a ritual.

My question is how do I use a glass bulb pipe, what's the method that everyone is using? Torch or bic lighter?

Please explain your method!
