I'm just gonna say it, the Ionizer base is cool, but it **Sucks.** Sure the infinite range is neat and the target on highest health enemies is great but like, the first time you fire it only marks the enemy, and you have to wait for an entirely new cooldown before you can actually fire. By then, the enemy you were gonna originally target has already marched closer to your base. So, I brainstormed some ideas cause I tested it myself and it sucked (call it a skill issue but I refuse to believe it's worth going through a cool final boss).

# Idea 1: Give it a 2/3 of its current cooldown

Simple change, basically cutting it's cooldown for both the mark and the actual blast. I don't know why you have to wait for 2 whole cannon cooldowns just to fire a measly laser, so cutting the cooldown for this specific base would be nice

# Idea 2: Have the marking stage actually do something

Lil bit of a stretch but having the laser mark actually do something when fired would benefit it quite a bit. Maybe give it something like Lil infernus' hellfire aura where it can damage enemies, or shoot down a sort of beacon that acts like a temporary wall which would display the marker and damage enemies around it.

# Idea 3: Improve the gigantic laser beam

If you're gonna have to sacrifice half of your cannon usage you might as well get a beam that can guarantee kill titan battlers that get hit, or like an explosion that hits enemies not in the laser's range. Heck give it Micro's passive where it can deal more damage to big enemies

# Idea 4: Blood Altar but cannon

Ok. So hear me out. This is a rather drastic change but it sounded cool in my mind. It works like the Blood Altar in a sense, where you have to kill enemies to charge the laser, along with a side bar that displays different firing modes.

 **1:** the current ionizer cannon

**2:** a straight laser blast that hits every enemy in the lane, albeit with weaker damage

**3:** sends a shockwave which powers up nearby battlers, getting weaker the farther the unit is

4: sends a different shockwave that knocks back nearby enemies for no damage, along with stunning them for like 1 second

Gave it the discussion tag cause I wanna hear your thoughts, what do you guys think?

The Ionizer base sucks, So I'm gonna suggest ideas
