Programs/resources/pathways for getting into welding?

I'm 23F, I have my OSSD, and I'm realizing getting my uni degree will be useless and I can't afford to finish it anyways with the OSAP cuts.

I'm interested in a career in welding. I have zero experience, and I'm feeling lost since there are so many options coming up in my search. Does anyone have any insight about the best way(s) to go about it? Any funded pathways for women in the city? Ideally something that would get me the foundations in ~6 months.

Even recommendations for other in-demand skilled trades would be appreciated. Cheers
