How did you guys get diagnosed?

Advice

So I've been lurking on this sub for a while now because I'm pretty sure I have cfs. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism almost 5yrs ago and ever since my Dr has told me that all my tiredness is from that even though my labs prove otherwise and I've even been on pretty much the same dose for almost 2-3yrs now. My Dr has ran so soo many lab tests over the years and has never come up with an answer other than saying it's just my hypo and it's a symptom I'll have to live with. But I know that's not true. Like my symptoms are I can stay awake and only sometimes fall asleep if I don't do anything and stay on the couch or in bed. But if I have to go anywhere or do anything I'm exhausted the rest of the day and up to 3 days if it was stressful. But also at times I have issues where like ill get up to do something and within a few steps my legs feel like they'll collapse and I have to sit on the floor and since idk when it'll happen I haven't risked it and won't try going anywhere that isn't family. Are these normal cfs symptoms or something else, should I see a specialist if so what kind? Any advice would be helpful too.
