earring fidget for pulling near ear?

hello all!

my girlfriend has suffered from trichotillomania for a couple of years. her main pulling area is her scalp, in front of her ears and her forehead. in the past she has tried fidgets like rings and picky pads, but they didn’t help much. i was thinking of getting her an earring she can somehow fidget with when she reaches for her pulling area near the ears. (i have dermotillomania and bpd, so i understand that replacement behaviours don’t always “fix” the core problem, but we’re both in therapy, i just think this might help a little as well).

unfortunately, i haven’t been able to find an earring that doubles as a fidget. have any of you seen something like this? if not, do you have any ideas on how i can design an earring that would satisfy her pulling compulsions?
