Gemini steals C+g, with hilarious consequences

Today I was in a meeting (Google Meet / Chrome) sharing my emacs screen. Every time I hit Ctrl+g, a window popped up with some Gemini chat thing. Anybody else had this happen? TIL that without C+g, emacs is practically unusable. (Save for the menu bars, they saved me this time - at least I was able to quit.) Presentation was rubbish though.
